How do we do PR in the financial industry, for a listed company, so that it is not boring?

If a client continues to cooperate with you despite market turmoil, such as a pandemic or war escalation, and it lasts for over 7 years - you know that "you are doing it right." This is how our cooperation with the Comperia Group works.

The Comperia Group entered the Polish market as one of the first financial comparators - a platform where everyone can compare credit, loan and insurance offers available in Poland. It has had numerous successes, since 2011 it has been listed on the main floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and in 2019 it was ready to launch many new business lines in the world of fintech - and then it invested in cooperation with the PR agency Profeina.

All this in an industry susceptible to all sorts crises and market turmoil. We have experienced at least several of them: the COVID-19 pandemic, the outbreak of the war in Ukraine and the subsequent economic crises.

Insight

In the financial industry, the problem is not the lack of topics for communication, but rather their hermetic nature. Therefore, in order to create effective narratives that meet the company's long-term goals, we must constantly listen to the needs of journalists and media recipients. Thanks to this, we can combine hard but dry data from stock exchange reports with topics that are current and socially important.

PR activities

We conduct company communication based on regulatory requirements (including stock exchange reports), each time translating the language of data and tables into the market context and current trends. We include communication in current topics - seasonal (holiday insurance, holiday expenses, financing purchases) and situational (e.g. flood damage), regularly commenting on the publication of Central Statistical Office data.

At the same time, we build the credibility of the organization through consistency personal branding of the management board and key managers – from substantive and media preparation, through arranging interviews in top business and industry media, to presence at conferences and competitions.

We are responsible for preparing industry analyzes and reports, developing our own channels (in particular LinkedIn) and supporting internal communication during key changes in the company.
